What we do in Munich
Munich is one of GE Aerospace’s key engineering sites worldwide. We play an important role in advancing the next generation of propulsion technologies. Our teams contribute to research and technology development across some of the most important programs in aviation. This includes work related to CFM’s RISE program that is advancing Open Fan, hybrid electric, compact core, alternative fuels, and other technologies. What connects all this work is a clear purpose: inventing the future of flight. To do that, our Munich teams collaborate closely with colleagues across GE Aerospace as well as with partners in industry, government, universities, and research institutions.
