Subang - GE Aerospace Engine Services Malaysia (GEESM)
GEESM in Subang is a vital part of our global MRO network, supporting safe and reliable aircraft operations worldwide. Established in 1997 as a Center of Excellence for CFM56 engines, it has grown into a major hub for commercial engines, components, and accessories. Backed by a US$80 million expansion, the site has strengthened its capabilities and Malaysia’s aviation industry. Subang also marked a major milestone as GE Aerospace’s first LEAP MRO facility outside the U.S., powered by skilled local talent delivering world-class expertise and customer support.

Sepang - New LEAP Engine MRO Facility
GE Aerospace’s new Sepang facility will help strengthen Malaysia’s role as a key aviation maintenance, repair, and overhaul hub. Built to service CFM International LEAP engines, the site will support next-generation aircraft, including the Boeing 737 MAX and Airbus A320neo. As part of GE Aerospace’s broader investment in Malaysia, the facility will add advanced repair capabilities, modern tooling, and new technology to meet growing regional demand. It will also expand LEAP engine service capacity, create jobs, and support local talent development—reinforcing GE Aerospace’s long-term commitment to growth in Malaysia.
