Investing $42M in Rutland manufacturing

In 2026, GE Aerospace plans to invest another $1B to deliver for our customers, scale production of more durable parts, and support military missions – all with safety and quality at the center. In Rutland, we’re investing $42 million to provide the next generation of forging and precision machining equipment, additional inspection technology, and upgrades to buildings.

Our Rutland sites

Expand your knowledge and drive new levels of achievement with GE Aerospace in Rutland. We’re producing high quality blades and vanes that make up our world-class compressor airfoils for commercial and military aircraft. You’ll join a team of highly collaborative employees working in two different sites as we help create the future of flight.

You will have a major role to play in producing key parts for the U.S Army's selection of GE Aerospace T901-GE-900 engine. The T901 is GE Aerospace's engine for ITEP, the U.S. Army’s undertaking to re-engine its Sikorsky UH-60 Blackhawks and Boeing AH-64 Apaches.
