How SkillBridge works at GE Aerospace:
- You apply to a GE Aerospace SkillBridge opportunity aligned to your skills and location preferences; we match candidates to teams in areas like maintenance, operations, engineering, supply chain, cybersecurity, and digital technology.
- Once approved by your command, you'll train full-time with a GE Aerospace team for up to 180 days, contributing to meaningful projects and learning our tools, processes, and culture.
- Throughout your placement, you’ll receive mentorship, access to Veteran employee networks, and structured feedback. We use the placement to assess mutual fit for potential post-service roles.
- Participants remain on active duty and continue to receive military pay and benefits; SkillBridge roles at GE Aerospace are unpaid.
